Grafton Little League Zero Tolerance Policy and Sanctions
President's Message
Every year Grafton Little League offers end of the season, age based Travel Teams for players ages nine through fifteen. Players that display a high level of skill, sportsmanship, teamwork, and enthusiasm will be nominated by the coaches and or players to participate in post season baseball tournaments. The division coaches, league officials, and Board of Directors will finalize the rosters for each tournament team. Being a member of a Travel Team is a major time commitment and parents and players can expect that most of July will need to be kept open so that players can attend all practices and games. Little League International does not allow notification of Travel Teams members until June 17th; hence we will notify players according the dates set by Little League International. To offset the costs of entering a team into the tournament, we will be requiring a $25.00 fee for each Travel Team player.
Grafton Little League Baseball in partnership with the Miner family will be awarding twenty scholarships to attend one week of the Grafton Recreation Summer Baseball Clinic for FREE. The scholarship will be awarded to the Most Valuable Teammate on each team from the following divisions; Dauphinais, Bazinet, and Double AA. The Most Valuable Teammate is that player that displays the most team spirit, enthusiasm, and commitment to the team. The baseball clinics begin the week of June 30th. The baseball clinic is for children ages 9-12 and will be held at the Edward P. Miner Field.
Grafton Little League will be holding a Food Drive to support the Grafton Food Bank. We are asking all Tee Ball and Minor league ballplayers to bring two non perishable food items to their end of the season World Series / Trophy Day on June 21st. There will be a collection container at Ferry Street Field for the Tee Ball World Series and a collection container at Miner Field for the Minor League World Series.
